Responsibilities
Thoroughly review and edit a wide range of documents for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
Ensure consistency in style, formatting, and terminology across all company materials, including technical reports, project proposals, safety manuals, marketing content, and internal communications.
Collaborate with various departments, including project management and sales, to refine content and ensure technical accuracy.
Verify facts, figures, and technical specifications to guarantee the precision of all documentation.
Assist in maintaining and updating the company's style guide to ensure a consistent and professional brand voice.

Qualifications
Proven professional experience as a proofreader, copy editor, or in a similar role.
An exceptional command of the English language, with an expert understanding of grammar and punctuation.
Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is highly desirable.
Previous experience proofreading technical or industry-specific content, particularly within the construction or engineering sectors, would be a significant advantage.
