The Reference and Instruction Librarian provides expert research assistance and delivers information literacy instruction to students, faculty, and staff. A Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS or MLS) from an ALA-accredited program is required. Candidates should have experience in library reference services, knowledge of the ACRL Framework, and proficiency with research tools.
The Reference and Instruction Librarian provides expert research assistance and participates in the Library’s information literacy instruction program as part of a team of reference and instruction librarians. This position works with colleagues to support students, faculty, and staff seeking research assistance, delivers library instruction across a range of formats and modalities, and develops collaborative relationships with academic departments to integrate library resources and services into the curriculum. The position reports directly to the Library Director.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Library Director.
Wages: $70,304 Plus Generous Benefits
