The Outreach Coordinator educates the community about PACE services to generate referrals and coordinates formal outreach activities such as health fairs and community forums. They also manage referral contacts, maintain relationships with community organizations, and provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager.
Candidates must have a high school diploma with a preference for two years of college in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in community public relations. Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication skills, and a valid Texas driver's license are required.
Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health (“Bienvivir”) is a community-based, patient-centered, comprehensive health care delivery system that advocates and promotes quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choices in a nurturing environment for frail seniors. Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”).
PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.
BENEFITS for Full and Part-time employees who work 30 or more hours per week:

Bienvivir is currently accepting applications for the following position:
OUTREACH COORDINATOR
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Outreach Coordinator will serve to advocate and educate the community about Bienvivir and services provided via the PACE model in an effort to generate referrals. The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of all formal outreach activities for the organization to include community forums, health, and educational fairs and all other outreach activities deemed relevant to promote Bienvivir. The Outreach Coordinator will support marketing activities and events and assist the Marketing Manager with administrative support and event coordination. The Outreach Coordinator will respond to formal and informal information requests for PACE education to facilitate referrals. The Outreach Coordinator will enter, track, and manage referrals within the marketing Customer Referral Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
A. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
1. High School Diploma; prefer two (2) years of college level work in journalism, public relations, marketing/advertising.
2. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in community public relations.
3. Valid Texas Driver’s License; Motor Vehicle Driving record check will be conducted.
B. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
1. Knowledge of marketing/outreach principles with ability to implement strategies that promote Bienvivir.
2. A dependable individual with a strong knowledge base and keen understanding and appreciation of the elderly, the PACE program and Bienvivir.
3. Strong interpersonal communication, written, and organizational skills; public speaking skills and experience.
4. The ability to clearly present to the community the philosophy and basic structure of the PACE model, and the Vision and Mission of Bienvivir.
5. The skill to work collectively and communicate effectively with staff, community contacts, participants and family members.
6. Bilingual; (English/Spanish).
7. Must have proficiency in MS Office applications, desktop publishing and spreadsheet software.
8. Must have the ability to effectively prepare and present information to various groups.
9. The ability to work independently or with others to manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision.

Utilizing the PACE model, Bienvivir offers a comprehensive healthcare solution for the elderly community providing coordinated and consolidated care. Bienvivir is the only organization in El Paso with an in-house dementia care unit and one of only four stand-alone PACE facilities.
