The Position

Job Reference: 4241

Position Title: People and Culture Advisor
Classification: HS5 - HS33
Hours per fortnight: 60 - 76 hours per fortnight (negotiable)
Employment Status: Fixed term Full Time/ Part Time (until April 2027)

Other requirements: 2026 Flu Vaccination

About the position: 

The People and Culture Advisor provides advice and consultancy services to managers and staff across the organisation. The Advisor works in partnership with managers to enable tailored people focussed solutions ensuring high quality outcomes. This position promotes and practices consistent interpretation and use of policies, protocols and systems to improve capablity and drive continuous improvement. 

 

About you:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional human resources professionals with strong communication skills and attention to detail to join our team.  If you thrive on building strong relationships, developing innovative solutions and providing quality strategic HR advice you will find this role highly rewarding. 

 

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • A tertiary qualfication in Human Resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, modelling positive behaviours, and creating a professional working environment. 
  • Proven experience in interpreting and applying multiple Awards/Enterprise Agreements and providing high level advice to staff and managers on a range of human resources matters. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships, while maintaining discretion to achieve outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate contemporary human resources solutions and embed them in the workplace.
