The Medical Assistant will assist physicians with patient care, including preparing patients for visits and performing clinical tasks like phlebotomy and medication administration. They will also manage indirect patient care duties such as addressing patient questions via phone or EHR and scheduling follow-up appointments.
Candidates must have completed a medical assistant program or equivalent, or possess relevant military or EMT training. A current BLS certification is required, and MA certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
