The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, and data analysis. Key duties include instrument maintenance, results reporting, and ensuring the proper identification and suitability of specimens.
A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Sciences and certification as an MLS, MT, or AMT is required. A Master's degree and specialist certification in Microbiology or Hematology are preferred.
