The Senior Payroll Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 900 employees in compliance with legislation and policies. This includes managing complex calculations, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end activities.
Candidates should ideally have over 7 years of payroll experience with strong technical knowledge of tax, superannuation, and Awards. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with the SCHADS Award and Dayforce are highly regarded.
SSI is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our Finance team based in Parramatta, Sydney, with hybrid working options available. This is a great opportunity for a confident payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving complex payroll matters and contributing to accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations.
In this role, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for more than 900 employees, while providing guidance across payroll enquiries, reporting, reconciliations, audits and process improvements. You will work closely with the Payroll Lead and broader Finance and People and Culture teams to deliver a high-quality payroll service across SSI Group.
