The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical support under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, including obtaining vitals and performing specimen collection. They also handle clerical duties such as managing medical records and facilitating patient referrals.
Candidates must hold a Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential and a current BLS certification. A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

This role applies to any openings available in our Medical Specialties Division which includes Dermatology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, and OBGYN/Midwifery.
Possible Locations: Downtown Spokane, Northpointe, and Spokane Valley

Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include:
Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
Interviewing patients
Obtaining vital signs
Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include:
Sending and receiving of patient medical records
Facilitating patient referrals
Preparing forms for patients
Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Current BLS cerification
