Job Description

This job is responsible for the delivery of integrated treasury solutions to APAC based subsidiaries of US headquartered Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects, consisting of Corporate and Non-bank Financial Institution entities. Key responsibilities include actively managing and pursuing treasury revenue streams along with increasing product penetration across an assigned portfolio and partnering closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities. Job expectations include providing product knowledge to deliver the best possible solution and meet client and prospect needs.

Responsibilities

• This is a Regional Treasury Sales Officer role, managing a portfolio of the subsidiaries of US HQ-ed Commercial Banking clients across the APAC market, consisting of Corporate and Non-Bank Financial Institution entities.
• Success is defined by new sales wins, revenue growth and retention within a predefined portfolio as a corporate sales consultant across treasury, trade and FX
• Engage key decision makers of the largest and most demanding clients and advancing relationships holistically, from initiating access and dialogue, to building material relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
• Work closely with other regions and the GCB banking team to deliver solutions to our clients
• Pro-active approach to sales, sending unsolicited proposals, leading client engagement and pitches / presentations
• Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
• Constantly review client names to ensure that the names achieve and maintain hurdle profitability levels
• Identify and implement revenue opportunities for names assigned via cross-sell opportunities through ongoing discussions with clients
• Coordinate with implementation and service teams to ensure smooth implementation and high client satisfaction
• Ensure timely resolution of relationship-sensitive client servicing issues within the organization and act as the senior escalation point in relationship-sensitive key service issues
• Completion of ad-hoc projects related to the Global Commercial Banking business, or the larger Global Payments Solutions organization
• As a senior member of the Treasury Sales Team, act as a culture carrier and mentor to junior team-mates, and aid in their career development journey

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant cash and trade sales or relationship management experience within a top tier international/ regional bank
• Proven track record in managing complex cash and trade deals for multinational corporations
• Knowledge of Corporate Treasury functions
• Strong client engagement skills with an unwavering focus on client satisfaction and growing business
• A team player who understands how to leverage various businesses functions/partners to drive business growth and support global client management and sales teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English.

• Able to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
• Willing to travel cross-region and within APAC.
• Strong OA and AI skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, Salesforce, etc)

Desired Skills:

• B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree
• Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or equivalent
• International Cash Management, Card Solutions, and/or Trade & Supply Chain Finance experience
• Experience dealing with Non-Bank Financial Institutions is a plus
