The Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing direct patient care tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living and monitoring patient safety. They also perform clinical duties such as EKGs, specimen collection, and transporting blood products under the direction of a registered nurse.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. While not strictly required, at least one year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsible and accountable for performing a wide range of direct patient care tasks. The performance of tasks allows the care team to provide quality care. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
