The Automation Specialist will manage the lifecycle of water transfer control systems, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance. They will also provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure operational efficiency in the field.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a degree or certificate in a technical field. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in industrial automation or a related technical field is required, along with a valid driver's license.
As our Automation Specialist, you will support NTE's automation product line by managing the complete lifecycle of water transfer control and monitoring systems in the oil and gas industry. You will perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities while ensuring branch automation needs are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth within the service department and throughout the organization.
This position is based at our Pittsburg location and requires local field service travel. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime and participation in a rotating on-call schedule.
