The EVS Supervisor coordinates and oversees the activities of housekeeping and project technician staff to ensure hospital premises are cleaned and maintained to standards. They are responsible for assigning tasks, inspecting work, managing supplies, and handling administrative documentation and employee performance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, along with at least three years of relevant experience and one year of leadership experience. Proficiency in chemical safety, basic computer skills, and the ability to work under pressure are required.
Purpose:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of Lead Persons Floor & Project Technician and Housekeepers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of UPMC. Assign tasks to workers, and inspect completed work for conformance to standards. Oversee the distribution of supplies and equipment. Resolve employee problems or refer matters to the Operations Manager.
