The engineer is responsible for assessing and improving the reliability of Pennsylvania's electrical distribution systems through strategic planning and infrastructure improvement. Key duties include analyzing outage data, preparing regulatory reports, and supporting the Distribution Control Center for safe system operation.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or a PE license, with 0-5 years of experience. Candidates must have knowledge of NESC and NEC standards and be willing to travel within the service territory.

About the Opportunity
This is for two (2) open positions with the FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.
This Engineer position is accountable for the reliability and assessment of Pennsylvania's distribution systems. The engineer performs analysis and recommends solutions to maintain a reliable electrical infrastructure that meets present and future electrical needs.
The position can be located onsite at the Erie Office in Erie, PA, the Meadville District Office in Meadville, PA, or the Oil City Service Center in Oil City, PA. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to northwestern Pennsylvania for further consideration.
