The instructor is responsible for implementing the approved nursing curriculum through varied teaching methods in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. They must evaluate student performance, provide remediation, and participate in continuous program improvement and professional development.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for practical nursing programs and possess a current, unencumbered RN license. At least two years of registered nursing practice experience is required, with previous teaching experience preferred.
Position Summary:

Faculty is accountable to the Dean/Director of Nursing for the implementation of the approved curriculum based on the mission and philosophy of the nursing program and the College. Faculty provides students with opportunities to acquire the knowledge and practice the skills identified in course objectives using varied and appropriate teaching methods. They plan learning activities to meet program outcomes based on the standards set by policies, legal and other regulatory requirements, and acceptable practices. Faculty also participates in the program’s evaluation and continuous improvement process and engages in personal professional development.
