The Oncology Licensed Veterinary Technician will provide specialized care to cancer patients, including diagnostic procedures, tumor classification, and administration of analgesics. They will also communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience in a specialty environment and be a graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program. A valid veterinary technician license in good standing or eligibility to transfer to Virginia is required.

Our Training Department has an impressive track record of helping Technicians achieve advanced certifications such as a VTS, CVPP, and/or CVRP.

Partner Veterinary is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician for our Oncology service who is excited to leverage their specialized skills to care for patients and families combating cancer. The Oncology RVT for Partner Veterinary is able to practice at the height of their skills. This is achieved through exhibiting knowledge in diagnostic procedures, tumor classifications/terminology, and, most importantly, recognizing the needs of our patients and clients. These needs range from compassionate care and communication for our clients to delivering analgesics and nutritional support to our patients.
