The janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of common areas, lobbies, and service spaces within the property. They also provide support for building operations, including light maintenance, trash management, and assisting with concierge duties.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or porter roles and be comfortable working with cleaning chemicals. The position requires the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Porter who takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our residents and guests. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the property’s daily presentation—ensuring common areas shine, supporting building operations, and contributing to a seamless living experience. If you’re proactive, take ownership in your work, and understand that consistency is key to excellence, you’ll thrive as part of a team that sets the standard in luxury living.
Compensation:
$20.00/hour
4:00p to Midnight
Grounds & Common Areas
Sweep sidewalks, terraces, lobbies, and hallways
Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the building
Respond quickly to spills, weather-related messes, or other safety hazards
Cleaning & Detailing
Clean and polish floors, glass, mirrors, brass, and woodwork
Deep clean as needed (carpet cleaning, grout scrubbing, waxing floors)
Maintain the laundry room, fitness center, and management offices
Report any damage or safety issues to the Resident Manager
Building Maintenance Support
Clean stairwells, service areas, and the compactor room
Change light bulbs and help prepare units for new residents
Use building systems to log tasks and report ongoing issues
Resident & Concierge Support
Cover the front desk during concierge breaks
Monitor service doors during move-ins and deliveries
Assist with unit inspections and ensure spaces look great for tours
Special Projects & Events
Help set up and clean shared spaces like lounges, rooftops, and gyms
Support building events and gatherings by helping with logistics and cleanup
Keep shared spaces looking welcoming and refreshed
Sustainability & Safety
Keep elevators, trash rooms, and amenity areas clean and odor-free
Support recycling and compost programs
Perform scent and cleanliness checks to ensure the building feels fresh
Participate in team meetings and be open to cross-training
