Conducts and analyzes electroencephalography (EEG) and other critical neurodiagnostic tests for patients of all ages across various hospital environments. Documents results, reports findings to physicians, and ensures equipment is disinfected according to policy.
Requires a High School Diploma/GED, 2 years of experience in electroneurodiagnostics, and R. EEG T certification. R. EPT and R. NCST certifications are preferred along with CPR certification.
Within Franciscan Health, the Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologist II conducts and analyses electroencephalography (EEG), and performs additional critical tests for patients across all ages. The Technologist conducts testing in the outpatient, inpatient hospital, or operating room environment, documents results, and reports findings to designated physicians.
