The Monitor Technician performs continuous surveillance of telemetry monitors to assess and document patient cardiac rhythms. They identify arrhythmias, communicate findings to the healthcare team, and ensure monitoring equipment is functional and properly configured.
Candidates must complete a telemetry or EKG interpretation course during the orientation period and possess 0-2 years of relevant experience. A BCLS certification is required for this position.
