Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current, unrestricted Texas RN or LVN license. Experience with psychotropic medications is required, while experience in behavioral health or clinical training is preferred.
Description
Position Function:
The PRN Training Nurse provides remote training to ACH Child and Family Services staff on the safe administration of psychotropic medications. This position works on an as-needed basis, averaging approximately 2–4 hours per month, to ensure staff receive required education and maintain competency in medication administration practices in accordance with ACH policies, licensing standards, and applicable regulations.
This position does not provide direct nursing care, medication administration, or clinical services.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Licensure: Current, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license required
