CLS provides free legal assistance in a broad variety of legal areas, including family law, public benefits, eviction defense, consumer protection, services to survivors of serious crime and human trafficking, and many others.

Position Summary:
CLS’s People & Culture team is responsible for managing the people side of the work – everything related to employees from the moment they’re hired to the moment they leave. Interns with this team can expect to feel essential to the daily operations, assisting with tasks related to trainings, company culture, recruitment, and systems and processes.
Interns will have opportunities to develop skills in human resources and nonprofit management.
They will also be able to network with professionals in the legal aid and nonprofit sectors and make a meaningful impact on access to justice.

Part-time, 10 hours per week preferred.
Compensation:
The position is unpaid but is open to receiving other work study funds that are student generated. Students may apply for course credit through their Externship Program.
