The Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling and reporting on revenue, production, and financial performance metrics to support strategic decision-making. Key duties include managing bonus cycle calculations, revenue budget compilation, and coordinating monthly financial system close activities.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 3 years of related financial analysis experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality are required.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting on the firm's revenue, production, and financial performance metrics to support operational and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Financial Analysis Manager, this role is responsible for routine reporting and ad-hoc reporting, bonus cycle calculations, assistance in the revenue budget compilation, year end statistical reporting and preparation of annual law firm surveys. This analyst works closely with Accounts Receivable, Billing, and practice group leadership to ensure complete and accurate data is provided for meaningful insight into firm performance. This position requires a strong understanding of the firm's data sources and metric definitions, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across departments while meeting critical reporting deadlines. This team member must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing time-sensitive materials while maintaining strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
Salary in the range of $65,000 - $90,000 dependent on location and experience level
