Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware for onboard train-mounted solutions. This includes conceptualization, verification, validation, and coordinating field trials and installations.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and 2 to 4 years of experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical design. Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and eligibility for EIT registration with EGBC are required.

You will play a key role in LB Foster’s Friction Management division, where you will be responsible for the design and development of custom mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware specifically related to onboard train-mounted solutions. This work includes conceptualization, design, verification, validation, manufacture, and systems implementation. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
