Lead and support generator compliance testing and commissioning for renewable and conventional power plants across North America. Monitor live test data and prepare technical reports to ensure facilities meet NERC and ISO requirements.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems and experience in power plant testing or compliance. Candidates must be familiar with NERC standards MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027, as well as ERCOT or other ISO requirements.
We are seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join our team supporting power plant testing, commissioning, and compliance verification for generation facilities across North America.
In this role, you will lead and support remote and on-site generator compliance testing for renewable and conventional generation assets, ensuring facilities meet applicable NERC and ISO requirements. You will coordinate with on-site teams, guide testing procedures in real time, and analyze test results to validate proper plant and controller performance.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on specialized generator compliance testing, including ISO (ERCOT, SPP, PJM, etc) and NERC (MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027) testing, while collaborating with plant operators, engineers, and equipment vendors to support reliable grid operations.
