The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients with traumatic brain injuries in clinical, residential, and community settings. Responsibilities include administering medication, performing treatment procedures, monitoring patient status, and ensuring safety during behavioral outbursts.
Candidates must hold a current licensure by the State Board of Nursing and maintain CPR certification. A valid driver's license is required, and experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities
The Staff Licensed Vocational Nurse renders professional nursing care pursuant to the objective and policies of the Centre. Work is part time during the weekdays, some weekend coverage and on-call work required. Work is performed at the clinic with some work in the community and residential site. A staff LVN will work directly under the supervision of the Nursing Department Coordinator or staff RN’s but utilize all nursing skills to make safe, appropriate and independent decisions within the scope of the LVN nursing practice.
