The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close processes. They will also support system migrations, fund accounting, and M&A activities while assisting with financial reporting and audit preparation.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and possess at least 3 years of progressive experience in a staff accountant role. Proficiency in GAAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, with experience in Microsoft Business Central strongly preferred.
The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for maintaining MountainSeed's financial records including general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close across the company's multiple entities. The role also provides exposure to system migration, fund accounting, and M&A support, offering broad technical experience beyond day-to-day close activities. This position is structured as a growth path and may be filled at either the Staff Accountant II or Senior Accountant level, making it well suited to a Staff Accountant II who is ready to step up into a Senior Accountant role.
