The Laboratory Technician II supports sample collection management, facility operations, and data management within the CDC Biorepository. Key duties include processing biological samples, maintaining chain-of-custody, and utilizing LIMS for accurate record-keeping.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a biological or environmental science or 2-5 years of equivalent experience. Candidates must have experience with SOPs, LIMS, and Microsoft Office, with a preference for knowledge of quality systems and clinical specimen handling.

TRAVEL: As required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position
ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other Federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to the Division of Core Laboratory Services and Response (DCLSR), CDC Biorepository (CBR), in Lawrenceville, GA.
The Laboratory Technician II will provide support for sample and collection management, services, facility operations, IT and data management, quality management, and project management. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
