Responsible for inspection, testing, and maintenance of locomotives and rolling stock equipment in accordance with FRA and Amtrak standards. Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on locomotive diesel engines and components.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program preferred. Experience in troubleshooting and mechanical repairs is necessary, along with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsible for inspection, testing and maintenance of locomotives and rolling stock equipment in accordance with FRA and Amtrak standards and guidelines.
The hourly range is $30.95 – $41.26 (with opportunity for increases, as per the applicable collective bargaining agreement, after beginning employment).
