The driver operator is responsible for driving and operating heavy equipment, including vacuum and roll-off trucks, while ensuring compliance with DOT and safety regulations. They must also manage hazardous waste manifests, perform vehicle maintenance, and respond to 24/7 emergency calls as required.
Candidates must possess a current Class B Commercial Driver License, with Class A preferred, and have 2-5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation. A 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required, along with the ability to pass physical, drug, and background screenings.
