About the Role
As an HVAC Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of commercial HVAC equipment. You will test components, subassemblies, and complete systems to verify functionality, efficiency, and compliance with company and industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong HVAC knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
Conduct comprehensive testing of commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation components.
Evaluate equipment performance, efficiency, and safety against established standards and specifications.
Utilize specialized testing equipment to measure airflow, pressure, temperature, and system operation.
Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot defects or malfunctions in HVAC equipment and components.
Analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
Recommend repairs, adjustments, or enhancements based on testing outcomes.
Production & Operational Support
Follow production and testing schedules to ensure timely completion of testing activities.
Collaborate closely with production and assembly teams to verify proper installation, wiring, and system functionality.
Support the development and continuous improvement of testing procedures and protocols.
Assist production operations as needed to support customer delivery commitments.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and corrective actions.

Qualifications
Education & Certifications
EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
