The Controls Engineer will serve as the primary technical owner for PLC programming, automation systems, and industrial networks to ensure plant reliability. They will lead troubleshooting efforts, manage capital improvement projects, and optimize equipment performance through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in electrical or automation engineering and possess at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs and the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics are required.

Title: Controls Engineer

Immediate Supervisor: Engineering Manager
Status: Salaried Exempt
Location: On-Site in our Blythewood, SC Facility
Position Purpose: Serve as the site's primary Controls Engineer responsible for PLC programming, automation systems, industrial controls, and electrical troubleshooting. Lead controls improvements and automation projects to improve safety, reliability, uptime, and manufacturing performance.
