The FPV Technician will build, repair, and maintain prototype FPV drones while assisting engineers with component integration and lab organization. They will also support flight operations by acting as a visual observer, documenting test data, and preparing equipment for field campaigns.
Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in FPV drone building, soldering, and mechanical assembly, along with proficiency in Betaflight and ESC software. The role requires the ability to pilot FPV drones in acro mode and maintain high organizational standards in a fast-paced environment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.
Neros is seeking FPV Technicians to support our R&D and flight testing. This position focuses on building and maintaining prototype aerial systems, and supporting flight test campaigns in the field. You'll work closely with Test Pilots and engineers to ensure that all equipment is prepared, tests are thoroughly documented, and act as Visual Observer in flight tests.
The ideal candidate has a strong FPV drone background, is comfortable building a variety of drone sizes, has excellent organizational skills, and a genuine passion for UAV technology. This role plays a large part in advancing product reliability, streamlining flight test operations, and maintaining the performance of our drone fleet and equipment.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
