The Director will lead the Foundation's fundraising strategy, donor stewardship, and operational infrastructure to drive philanthropic revenue growth. They will also manage cross-functional initiatives, community programs, and organizational planning in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates must have at least 7 years of leadership experience in nonprofit development, sports philanthropy, or a related field. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required, along with strong financial acumen and proficiency in CRM systems.
About the Position
The Golden State Community Foundation is looking for a strategic, collaborative, and results-oriented Director to lead the Foundation's fundraising strategy, operational excellence, and organizational execution. In this role, you will drive philanthropic revenue growth while overseeing the operational infrastructure that enables the Foundation's community impact initiatives, signature events, and strategic partnerships.
You will lead development efforts, fundraising operations, donor stewardship, partnership engagement, organizational planning, and day-to-day Foundation operations across a diverse portfolio of programs and initiatives. Additionally, you will develop and execute fundraising strategies, strengthen operational systems and processes, manage cross-functional initiatives, and ensure the successful execution of Foundation priorities in collaboration with internal departments, corporate partners, donors, and community organizations. This position reports to the Executive Director.
