The After School Social Recreation Specialist will organize and promote various recreational activities tailored to the interests of individual members. They will also enforce rules to maintain discipline and ensure safety during activities.
A high school diploma is required, with some college experience preferred, along with at least 1 year of experience in youth development. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to engage with young people from diverse backgrounds.
The After School Social Recreation Specialist (021) will be responsible for organizing and promoting activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation, camping, and hobbies, taking into account the needs and interests of individual members. We are offering an exciting opportunity for an After School Teen Recreation Specialist at our Elbaum Site (021) located in Brooklyn, NY.
This is a part-time position working up to 20 hours a week Monday through Friday in the afternoon.
