The Staff Chaplain provides spiritual care services to patients and families by integrating their values into the medical plan of care. They also communicate spiritual needs to the interdisciplinary health care team and support patients through difficult hospitalization challenges.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Divinity or a related theological field and have completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education. Additionally, at least one year of hospital work experience post-CPE is required, along with eligibility for board certification.
