A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred. Candidates should have a passion for Christian education and ideally possess experience with Raiser's Edge NXT and nonprofit fundraising.

The Development Coordinator is responsible for managing advancement systems and donor stewardship processes while helping execute fundraising campaigns, special events, alumni engagement initiatives, and strategic communications that advance the mission of Virginia Academy. This individual serves as a key member of the Advancement Team, working collaboratively across Admissions, Development, and Marketing & Communications to strengthen relationships with current families, alumni, donors, grandparents, community partners, and prospective families.
This position reports directly to the Director of Advancement
