Safely escort and transport patients throughout the hospital using proper body mechanics. Maintain clear communication between central transport and other hospital departments.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification. Previous patient care experience is strongly preferred.
Part Time, approximately 24 hours/week
Rotating shifts, with potential shift times between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, primarily Monday - Friday, and one weekend per month
Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.
High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
