The Assistant Director supports the Program Director in managing the PROS program, ensuring operational compliance with OMH standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include providing clinical supervision, managing a small caseload of clients with severe mental illness, and overseeing daily billing and census reports.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling and a valid NYS license (LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC). At least 3 years of relevant experience in a behavioral health environment is required, with supervisory experience preferred.

Under supervision of the Program Director, the requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The Assistant Program Director assists the Program Director with the management of the PROS program. This person will assist with oversight of the operations of the program to assure that they follow agency procedures and operates in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements. The Assistant Director performs all tasks and duties delegated by the Program Director.
