The Day Habilitation Specialist provides structure, emotional support, and assistance with personal hygiene to adults with developmental disabilities. They are also responsible for documenting progress and transporting participants to various activities using agency vehicles.
Candidates must have a high school diploma with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree. A clean, valid NYS driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and transferring adults are required.
