The Communications Specialist will play a key role in shaping and executing Apalachee Center’s communications efforts. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, producing a monthly email newsletter, maintaining and updating website and collateral content, and partaking in community engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills and a creative mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, English, marketing or a related field. Minimum of two years of professional experience in communications, public relations or a related role.
Experience in the mental health or healthcare sector preferred. Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and photography preferred.
Current valid driver’s license.
Maintain Apalachee Designated Auto Driver status.
