The HVAC Apprentice assists a licensed Journeyperson with the installation, maintenance, and repair of facility heating and cooling systems. They are responsible for responding to service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with safety and environmental standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be enrolled in a recognized HVAC apprenticeship program. A valid driver's license and the ability to meet enhanced security clearance requirements are also mandatory.
