We are hiring for multiple teams within Core Identity, the Engineering organization entrusted with the very heart of the Auth0 application. Our teams own the authentication pipeline, identity protocols, user sessions, and all the fundamental concepts and foundational elements that underpin our entire product. We are also the stewards of the platform's technical health, performance, and efficiency.
Our teams are comprised of engineers with deep expertise in digital identity who are dedicated to designing and operating robust, large-scale systems. The work we do directly impacts millions of users daily and enables other product teams to build innovative features securely and efficiently. We own and operate these mission-critical services at scale while also serving as key partners to other engineering teams across Auth0.
This is an opportunity to solve complex distributed systems challenges at a global scale. As a Software EngineerII in Core Identity, you will design, build, and operate the critical services that form the backbone of our identity platform. You will primarily work with our NodeJS backend (TypeScript/JavaScript), with data stored in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis, all running on a multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure). If you have a passion for simplifying complex problems and building resilient, secure software, we encourage you to apply.
