The AQPIC is responsible for processing pharmaceutical returns and ensuring the destruction of controlled substances in compliance with Health Canada and environmental regulations. They must also maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with regulatory bodies and facility personnel.
Candidates must hold a post-secondary credential in a related field such as pharmacy, chemistry, or supply chain management. In-depth knowledge of federal and provincial environmental and drug control legislation is required.
To process product returns under the GFL Wentworth pharmaceutical returns business unit. Be knowledgeable in the Health Canada regulations pertaining to Cannabis, Precursors, and Controlled Drugs and Substance. Maintain compliance regarding all operational matters at the Wentworth
facility (site-specific SOPs, Workhub/Health and Safety/Compliance training). Please note this is an afternoon shift working: M-F 3pm-11:30pm. Covered under the Teamsters Union.
