The Material Master SME is responsible for the governance, quality, and lifecycle management of Material Master and related manufacturing master data across SAP environments. This role defines enterprise-wide standards and serves as the escalation point for complex master data and manufacturing issues.
Candidates must have 7–10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management within a manufacturing or engineering environment. A diploma or degree is required, along with strong proficiency in SAP MM, BOM, and Engineering Change Management processes.

Job Purpose:
The Material Master SME is responsible for the governance, quality, and lifecycle management of Material Master and related manufacturing master data across SAP environments. The role serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECM), and associated product data processes.
The position works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate, controlled, and compliant master data that supports operational efficiency and business growth.
