The Building Official will supervise building inspectors and manage inspection programs while serving as a subject matter expert for the sales team. They are responsible for enforcing municipal, state, and federal building codes and overseeing the issuance of permits and occupancy certificates.
Candidates must hold an ICC Certified Building Official (CBO) certification and possess 5–7 years of progressive experience in building inspection. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are required to manage complex code-related issues and coordinate with various municipal departments.
