The Security Manager leads the overall security operations, staffing, and performance across all Gifthealth facilities. This includes designing security protocols, managing technology infrastructure, and serving as the primary liaison between security operations and senior leadership.
Requires at least 5 years of security operations experience with 2 years in a management role and a valid state security license. A bachelor's degree and professional certifications like CPP or PSP are preferred.
Description
The Security Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, structure, and performance of Gifthealth's security operations across all facilities. This role manages the Security Supervisor(s) and Officer team, owns the design and continuous improvement of security programs and protocols, and serves as the primary liaison between security operations and Gifthealth leadership. The Security Manager ensures that staffing, training, technology, and procedures are consistently aligned with Gifthealth's operational needs and regulatory obligations, and sets the standard for professionalism and accountability across the entire security function.
This role operates across multiple Gifthealth facilities and requires regular travel between sites. The Security Manager will conduct site assessments and respond to security incidents, which may involve standing, walking, and physical presence in operational environments. Availability outside standard business hours may be required for significant incidents, emergencies, or staffing needs.
