The Junior ISSO provides cybersecurity auditing support by reviewing system audit records and monitoring logs for unauthorized access or policy violations. They are responsible for documenting findings, reporting discrepancies to the ISSM, and maintaining compliance records.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 5 years of DoD IT experience, plus at least 3 years of ISSO or cybersecurity experience. An active DoD Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are mandatory.
Description
The Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will provide critical cybersecurity auditing support to the OASIS team in PMA-205 by reviewing system audit records, identifying and documenting security concerns, and reporting findings to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) or cybersecurity lead.
