The Head Lifeguard is responsible for supervising the aquatics team and ensuring the safety of members and program participants. They assist leadership in managing facility operations and handle staff communication and member concerns.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold current ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR-PR, and Oxygen Administration certifications. Additional requirements include completing Blood Borne Pathogens training and New Staff Orientation within 30 days of hire.
The YMCA of Northern Colorado is hiring a Head Lifeguard. You will serve as the friendly hawk that keeps our members safe and our aquatics team on the ball. Schedule can include up to 28 hours per week during the year and up to 40 hours per week during summers.
The salary range is $18.50-$20.25 per hour depending on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.
