The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for greeting patients, explaining the specimen collection process, and performing various clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and ECG tracings. They must also maintain accurate patient records, prepare specimens for transport, and ensure high standards of patient care and privacy.
Candidates must have completed a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or possess equivalent experience in phlebotomy and healthcare. Strong communication skills, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to travel between multiple locations are essential for this role.

As a Laboratory Assistant you will be responsible for the specimen collection process, from greeting patients through to preparation of specimens for transportation. This is an important role in patient care and our business and will let you see the difference that you make in patients’ lives.
Status: Part Time Regular Float
Schedule: Sundays to Saturdays
