The Advanced Therapies Nurse Specialist coordinates comprehensive care for patients receiving advanced therapies, managing the journey from evaluation through infusion and follow-up. The role also focuses on developing clinical workflows, tracking data, and serving as a consultant to the medical staff to improve program effectiveness.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with a Florida license and a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree. A minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology, transplant, or advanced therapies is required.
Role Overview
The Advanced Therapies Nurse Specialist provides comprehensive coordination of all services and systems to provide an organized and efficient multi-disciplinary team approach for the care of patients receiving advanced therapies at TGH. The role will help to shape the development and evolution of advanced therapies at TGH, serving to enhance its overall effectiveness, productivity, and quality. This position serves as the glue for facilitating an organized and comprehensive approach to the management of patients undergoing advanced therapies across settings of care and the trajectory of illness – delivering the best possible clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction,and provider satisfaction in the process. The role reports to the Advanced Therapies Clinical Operations Manager.

Coordinate the entry and integration of prospective patients into and through the process ensuring timely evaluations and collaboration among the different disciplines involved, including but not limited to the following duties:
