The Wine Steward assists the cellar master in operating the wine cellar to achieve sales and customer service goals. Responsibilities include stocking products, hosting tastings, and ensuring compliance with state liquor laws.
Candidates should be at least 21 years old with a customer service orientation and a passion for wine, beer, and liquors. Previous experience in food service, grocery, or restaurant environments is desired.
POSITION PURPOSE: We are looking for a passionate and positive Wine Steward! With a passion for wines, beer and liquors and a focus on maintaining an appealing and well-stocked wine cellar, the Wine Steward will effectively assist the cellar master in the operation of the wine cellar to achieve sales and customer service goals established by AJ's Fine Foods. A Wine Steward is a responsible team player and always ready to learn. A Wine Steward can work at a fast pace, has a keen eye for safety and will be able to help execute an assortment of duties throughout the store.
